George L. Lutich – Chief Executive Officer

George Lutich’s accomplishments as Chief Executive Officer, Business Owner, and Entrepreneur are reflected in his last 20 years with Paragon Water Systems, Inc. George has served in a variety of capacities; Director of Purchasing, Assistant General Manager, and currently as the CEO of Paragon Water Systems Inc. His “hands on” approach along with an in-depth knowledge of the water filtration industry includes but is not limited to; JIT (Just-in-time inventory), Quality Control, Procurement Standards, Negotiations, International Relations, Project Management, Customer Service, Employee Relations, Sales, Safety Compliance, Product Line Expansion, and the establishment of a wholly owned foreign corporation in People’s Republic of China. George’s early foray into the international arena has facilitated strong joint venture relationships and affiliated companies in China and elsewhere in the world. The development of these relationships has allowed Paragon to grow exponentially in the last few years in its ability to provide quality products at reasonable prices. As a result of these strong ties with China production facilities Paragon today is in the unique posture to take projects from conception to production with short turnaround times, giving Paragon a competitive edge. George’s role as CEO is a natural progression due to his unique insider’s knowledge of the water filtration product process from product concept thru tooling, testing, certification, production and distribution. This diverse industry knowledge has allowed George and the President of Paragon Water Systems, Inc., David Swain, an unparalleled advantage of being able to respond very quickly to the production needs of their customers.

David E. Swain - President

David Swain is the President of Paragon Water Systems, and has been a driving force behind the growth and development of Paragon since he came on board in early 2002. David came to Paragon after a lengthy career with Intel Corporation, where he began in various engineering positions and grew into USA production management as well as overseas production transition management roles. David brought his unique qualifications to Paragon Water Systems, Inc. in 2002 at the same time that Paragon and it’s CEO, George Lutich, were moving into production arenas overseas. The coupling of David and George’s expertise and enthusiasm has made Paragon a leading ODM water filtration supplier. David and his wife of 17 years, Debbie, are proud parents of two girls. David attended the University of Florida where he was a 4-year letterman and 3-year starting center on the football team. He graduated with a Bachelors degree in Chemistry and 4.0 GPA during his dual Masters in Business and Engineering.

Ross Campbell - CFO/COO

Ross Campbell started his career nearly 30 years ago at KPMG as an Auditor and Public Accountant. By the end of his 10 year tenure at KPMG, he was working in the transactional services arena, which specializes in mergers, acquisitions and bankruptcies. After KPMG, Mr. Campbell joined Preferred Meal Systems and spent five years as its Chief Financial Officer. This privately held company was a manufacturer and distributor of frozen and fresh pre-plated meals, predominately for public school and institutional feeding. In 1997, he joined Culligan Water Technologies and was instrumental in helping the Private Equity Group (Apollo) grow this business from $300 million to over $1 billion in revenues through acquisitions and strategic alliances. After the sale of the business to a foreign conglomerate, Mr. Campbell became the CFO and COO of National Financial Partners. This was a start-up venture, also funded by Apollo that is now traded on the New York Stock Exchange as NFP. In 2003, Mr. Campbell returned to the food industry and joined CSM America as its CFO for North America. In 2006, he took on the Presidential responsibility of running one of CSM's North American subsidiaries called QA Products, a manufacturer of confectionary and decorative toppings. In December 2007, CSM sold QA Products and Mr. Campbell returned to the CFO of North America. He left CSM, in April 2011 and spent a year helping businesses develop and execute on their business strategies. In July 2012, Mr. Campbell became the Chief Financial Officer at Merisant, the maker of low calorie sweeteners such as Equal. Mr. Campbell helped the Private Equity sponsor optimize and sell the business in the fall of 2015. In early 2015, Mr. Campbell joined Paragon Water Systems as its CFO/COO and has full responsibility for all financial aspects of the business.

S. Lynn Clem, Vice President of Finance

Lynn has over 35 years of experience in public and private accounting. During her career, she has served as Tax Manager, Small Business Development Manager and currently as CFO at Paragon where she has worked since 2005. The focus of her career has been on formation, integration, set up, compliance and growth of startup companies. Many of the companies suited her financial experience in compliance and tax matters as these companies positioned themselves for equity partners and/or “going public.” The majority of her financial reporting and analysis has centered on accounting and tax compliance, business growth strategies, overall financial performance against benchmarks and competitors, and the implementation of accounting and financial systems and safeguards. Lynn has been a lifelong resident of Florida, attending Pinellas County public schools, and graduating from University of South Florida, St. Petersburg.

Syed Shah - Vice President of Operations

Syed has 20 years of experience in worldwide manufacturing of automotive, electronic, and water-related products. He is in charge of the operations and supply chain development for the company's global manufacturing base. Prior to his current position, Shah held the position of Vice President of Quality at Culligan International where he headed the manufacturing, quality, and pricing strategy for the company's commercial and residential product lines. He has also held numerous positions at leading manufacturing companies including Kimball Electronics, Fiskars, and Bel Fuse. Mr. Shah holds a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University, a MBA from Durham University, and is a Level 3 candidate for the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. Syed lives in Chicago with his wife and two daughters.

Mark Unger, Technical Manager

Paragon Water Systems announced that Mark Unger has joined the company as Technical Manager. Mark brings 15 years of valuable experience in the water treatment industry. Unger began at the WQA in 2000 and has expertise in quality assurance, training, laboratory management, as well as product testing and certification. He has authored several technical articles in the various trade magazines over the years. Mark has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology.

Peter Cicchetto – Product Manager, POU Coolers & Sediment Filters

Peter joined Paragon Water Systems in 2010 as a Product Manager for both POU Coolers and Sediment Filters. He brings 20+ years of various technical sales and marketing roles within both the factory and process automation industries. In these roles, Peter has been active in identifying new opportunities, defining functional requirements, and working closely with the development team toward market release. Successful product developments include both mainstream and custom electro-mechanical designs. Peter is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts and holds a degree in B.S. Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering – Manufacturing Option. He lives in the Sarasota, FL area with his wife and two children.

Bob Maisner – Vice President of Sales & Marketing

Bob Maisner has joined Paragon Water as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Bob has over 32 years of experience in the water treatment business. The past 20 years, Bob has worked for Watts Water Technologies in several capacities including GM of the Premier division and the past 5 years as VP of Sales & Support of the Water Quality Platform. He is very involved with the industry and serves on the Board of Governors and Board of Directors at the WQA.

Max Ma – Product Development

Max S. Ma joined Paragon in March 2009 and is responsible for managing new product development and engineering efforts. Prior to moving to Paragon corporate offices in Clearwater, Florida, Max served as Director of Business Development at FilterPro, Paragon's wholly owned manufacturing facility in China. At FilterPro, Max lead efforts to design new products, innovate new structure, manage projects to support the company's growth and exceed customer expectations. Max received a Bachelor of Engineering from Dalian University of Technology, and he is currently pursuing MBA from University of South Florida.
